    George W. Bush Resume

Don't you all think that you exaggerate with your hate to Bush? You accuse him of everything possible? In United States the system of counting votes is such that the one who gets fewer can win, it was no cheat on Bush's side. There could be given many examples of worse presidents, beginning with...

    "Passion" by Mel Gibson

Well, after all it is an adaptation, isn't it? I have a question- did everybody see this film and can say if it is worth watching or not? I wonder whether to go to the cinema or not.

    Ask Me Anything ...

Hm, Martin, shame that you don't speak Polish...So beautiful and simple language it is...Dzień dobry, przyjacielu- nice, isn't it? My question for you- in which century does the Margit Sandemo's saga begin its plot?

    Ask Me Anything ...

Just a small precision to the God issue. Actually, although many philosophers claimed Him to be unmoving, it was Aristotle who regarded Him as the aim of everything.

    Ask Me Anything ...

Well, I would contradict. Whereas it's impossible to counts grains of sand, somebody might have counted particular words during their day off... Nevertheless, I have another question- which sex commits crime more often in Agatha Christie's books- men or women?

    Agatha Christie

I think that such changes can be also misleading, because the books with different titles can be regarded as different books- well, maybe this is the case... As I compare the original titles with the translated- there are sometimes not the same. Nevertheless, I claim that one book shouldn't...

    Agatha Christie

Well, as for the title, I think that it wasn't offensive in Agatha's times. "The Moving Finger",renamed as"Poison Pen"- is it that one about anonymous letters, and its main hero is pilot? Because the Polish translation was also like "Poison Pen".

    Agatha Christie

I also prefer Poirot to Miss Marple. Furthermore, I prefer him to Sherlock Holmes. I like T&T, too. I suspected that it was a kind of autoirony...with Ariadne, I mean.

    Agatha Christie

I read "Cards", so did all books you mentioned as favourites. I noticed that all of them are in a way special, because murderers are unusual... "Cards" are great, as you have 25 % chance of guessing correctly. :) Well, I didn't- but it's only because of Mrs Oliver...

    Agatha Christie

I like "Mystery of the blue train", "Ten little Niggers" and "Peril at End House" (I don't want to boast, but I solved the mystery before Mr Poirot). I appreciate her ability to create deep characters and to manipulate the plot.

    Agatha Christie

    Actually, yes.

    And the winner is ...

I voted for the one, which in my opinion will win...nevertheless, I also think it should, although I must admit I haven't seen any else.

    Victor Hugo

Dear Chateaubriand, I have a question for you as the Hugo's admirer. Why did Javert commit suicide? Was it his victory or admittance of being defeated? Did he change himself a little before his death? I have been wondering recently...

    Helen Fielding: Bridget Jones's Diary

I think that it's suprising that Lizzie, athough not flawless, is much more mature and sensible than Bridget. Mr Darcy got soaked in the film with Colin Firth, this scene wasn't in the book. He jumps into the lake. As to present and parties, I meant that she regards it only as way of...

    Helen Fielding: Bridget Jones's Diary

To be hones, I found it impossible to like Brigdet Jones. She seems to be so illiterate and uneducateg. Having a degree in literature, she is interested only in watching the scene when mr Darcy gets soaked. What is more, she is very malicious to the people she didn't like- and there plenty of...

The Return Of The King **Spoilers**

Yes, she is. She was portrayed in the film as totally paper character. I see the point in the book's not talking much about her, as she is to represent the ideal...but in the film it didn't come out.
