I agree. But then sometimes the moderators and/or members won't agree with the comment another member made and where does that leave us? I really dislike PM'ing a moderator, because god knows how many times someone has pointed something out already. That's why I like the report-a-post option...

You can start your little experiment with me, if you'd like. I hate to say this, but I agree with hay82. I think SillyWabbit is great fun on the forum and I have no problems with him as a member whatsoever (I quite like him), but I just don't think he's really cut out to be a moderator.

In a way, it is necessary, because with as much posts as this forum generates daily, you have to keep things organised.

You can search by user name if you use the advanced search. But you are right, the search will only give you 500 results and that's it.

Both Ell and Wabbit have said they're looking into hiring more moderators, so let's hope the new ones will be appointed soon.

Quite a few inconsistencies and sometimes post by moderators that really were out of line. I can't add a poll to this thread (maybe a moderator could?), and I don't know if I should create a new thread. Or maybe I can create a new thread and ask a moderator to merge the two.

I thought about doing that at first, but then I figured I wanted people to reply instead of just vote. I'll see if I can still add a poll though.

I like a bit of chick lit every now and then myself. I'm not exactly embarrassed about it, but I don't really talk about it because, let's face it, most of the books aren't exactly something you can discuss at length.
