Is it worth it to become an editor?

Yet there always are so many! I honestly don't think I'd be cut out for this kind of thing. My friends and family usually rely on me for "editing" their papers, letters, etc. and I love doing it, but if there are deadlines and stress...

Are you a good upright consumer?

Copyrighting your material is not the same as copy protecting it. Both books and CDs are copyright (or copyleft) protected. I have no problems with that. But if indeed they start selling things that might or might not work on your car stereo or computer, that's something else entirely. That's a...

Are you a good upright consumer?

Moto, it is legal to make copies of the albums you own for your own use, so I think the copy protectedness of some of the CDs we buy is a bit of an oxymoron.

    Strings

I saw it last week (finally) and wasn't bothered by the lack of facial expressions at all. I thought it was a wonderful film (not so much the plot, but the way they presented it), though the people I was with didn't all agree with me.

    Neil Gaiman

I took the Anansi Boys preview home with me, but the book itself just costs way too much here.

This film festival is driving me crazy. Too many movies, dammit! I saw Ta'm e guilass, 37 og et halvt, Naboer, En sånn mann, Hauru no ugoku shiro, Kongekabale, Shijie, Lost Children and Žralok v hlavě this weekend.

    Least read book

A poll by a Dutch website revealed that --in the Netherlands at least-- Donna Tartt's The Little Friend is the book that most people leave unread (or unfinished) after they've bought it. (source) Does anyone feel like nominating other books? ;)

    Word Game Forum

Or move them to general chat? I think they really belong there. Also, if there's too many forums here, it gets confusing. Simplicity is great.

    Suggestion: Posts

So I'd only be -18%. I can live with that. As far as I'm concerned the post count can be removed altogether.

    Lit Web - author biographies

You might want to post it here too.

    Suggestion: Posts

Now I wonder what my percentage is... Maybe we should substract the general posts from the book posts? Then I'd definitely be below zero. ;)
