SIL, wash your mouth out with soap.:D
I will fry up some Rocky Mountain Oysters for appetizers. Where is Poppy, she usually can come up with something good for the menu. WooHoo, lets get this thing "rockin". Where are the dancin' girls.
Oh, and pontalba should be able to think of some...
We need to have a party on the Forum.
But of course, it has to be organised. I nominate Sofia, Dogma, and Mehastings to supply the drinks.
Who's going to volunteer to provide the necessary food things.
And most importantly, we require a driver to drive a car into the swimming...
Your avatar is also kinda neat. Sofia and Steffee usually have nice avatars. And Poppy's new avatar is very nice.
MC, congrats on the scholarship. I am sure you will do well. BTW, the woman that is buying our house is a Doctor of Psychology. She has a private practice and also teaches at UVA.
I just finished reading Pegasus Descending by James Lee Burke. His writing just keeps getting better and better. This book will knock-your-socks-off. However, like pontalba says, you really should start with the first book in his Robicheaux series. Robicheaux has been written as one of the most...

I agree with pontalba. Please start from the beginning, if possible, to fully appreciate Robicheaux. However, please recognize that his writing isn't quite as good in the earlier books although the stories are great. I have read all his books and liked them all.
Darn, you sure have a short memory. ;) :p

I know you have heard of Burkittsville, MD

Aw shucks, I would do the same for one or two others. ;)
I am about 80 pages into the new book by Burke and really enjoy it. The book, Pegasus Descending, is ranked number 4 on the Wall Street Journal best sellers. And it has only been out maybe 2 or 3 weeks. Robicheaux rocks, and so does...
The Blair Witch Project was a very good movie. I am very familiar with the location of the "shooting" of the movie.
Dogmatix, guess where they went to school. ;)
As many of you know we frequently get black bears that visit our backyard. One year I identified 6 "different" bears that came to our birdfeeder, etc. We would see them as frequently as 4 to 6 times a week during the spring and summer. This year we only seen one bear. I am sure there were more...
