Dan Brown: The Da Vinci Code

I think the problem people have with The Davinci Code is that it is like a Big Mac that's being advertised and praised as if it were filet mignon.

    Question Game

My sense of humor. Paper or plastic?

Was that meant to be a compliment? Flattery will get you nowhere.

What do you pay for gas?

I try not to look but I know it's close to $3. When the hell are they going to make cars that run on corn oil? God knows the U.S. produces enough of corn to make it an alternate fuel.

    V for Vendetta

Great film! That's all I've got to say. You'll have to see it for yourself. P.S. If you're not a leftie or radical than stay home.

Dan Brown: The Da Vinci Code

Very funny. So this means that anyone who thinks The Davinci Code stinks is snot-nosed intellectual? I hate to break it to you but not all of mainstream America liked The Davinci Code. And just because there is a mass appeal doesn't mean its not shite. Hey, Hitler was big at one time...

Dan Brown: The Da Vinci Code

Daaahling, as Salman Rushdie said in a NPQ interview, "The Davinci Code is crap." And bad writing makes for bad reading. The book reads like a dime store novel or as if it was written by a 4th grader aspiring to become a writer. It is possible for a book to be accessable and well written...

Dan Brown: The Da Vinci Code

The Da Vinci Code As is in the words of the lovely Dorothy Parker, "This is not a novel to be tossed aside lightly. It should be thrown with great force." No offense to anyone who likes Dan Brown's book, but I believe it to be a load of shite. My friends hounded me to read it. I bought it...

    Ballad of Jack and Rose

Its a shame the film didn't get good reviews. That may have stopped others from seeing it.

    Who is the hardest read?

For me it was Canterbury Tales (untranslated). I have to study more Middlge English before I can tackle it again.
