    It was originally filmed in color. The DVD I have is a restored version and the colors are so vibrant.

    The Quiet Man I don't think it's profound but I do love that film. For a little while I am swept away to the Emerald Isle until I hear a car honking outside. :p

    I went to see The Island last evening. What a good movie. There were a lot of action sequences, but aside from that the plot of the film was great and not too farfetched.

    Hilarious! I live in the U.S. so I have to rely on BBC America and Public Television to see it so it's not that often.:(

    He's also got some other great works like Martin Eden and The Sea Wolf. I'll never forget the first time I read The Sea Wolf. It was such a gripping story.
