    Litany and abecedarian

It's probably only about £10-20 of wool, and it's probably decent wool. There's the pattern writer and the knitter to be paid as well as the shop taking their cut. Without having the yarn in front of me to squeeze I can't really say what sort of yarn it is. Different breeds make different...

    Litany and abecedarian

Most people wouldn't. There are too many sweat shop imports for people to appreciate how much time things actually take to make. If it's just a plain knit then it will have been made on a machine, but there's an increase in the popularity of crocheted stuff and there are no machines for making...

Not by me they're not. If people aren't prepared to pay for other people's skills they can damn well do it themselves. Scandinavian Grace $135 in Icelandic wool. If it were me I'd likely use something posher and it would cost a shit load more than that.

    Gordon Brown

No he doesn't. He's never answered a question with a straight answer, he always bashes out the same 'Labour has brought this country 10 years of economic blah, blah, blah' and then he slags off the Tories for not having any real policies. Top 100 Sci-Fi Books (online survey)

It gets weird but I still found it to be a very worthwhile read. I can see why some wouldn't like it, but I think it's worth at least trying for yourself to see if you're one of them, rather than just stopping because you heard bad things.

    Is there a God?

The ancient Egyptian religion is a myth? And you accuse Sybarite of being belittling? What turns a religion into a myth in your view? Time, or just your personal lack of belief in those particular gods? And if they're not a myth when people are currently believing in them, exactly how long...
