The biggies have mostly all been mentioned above. Here are some off-beat SF flicks, mostly forgotten, but none-the-less worthwhile:
This Island Earth
Enemy Mine
Robinson Crusoe on Mars
The Forbin Project
I'm the one without the feathers.
Hey Aqua Blue-
Somehow that street scene in your picture looks like the street in Groundhog Day where Bill Murray gets punched in the face every day for eternity.
Anybody into this game? I've always loved video and computer games. Not ALL of them, mind you. Most of them are just childish shoot-em-ups. This game by Blizzard (inventors of the classic GREAT game Warcraft) is probably the most complex, involving, intriguing, addicting compuer game ever...

That test is pure BULL. I KNOW I'm not a nerd. At least, nobody in the chess club thinks I am. Excuse me, I have to get the ink stain out of my pocket that my pen made, when I forgot my pocket protector. It's gonna be hard though without my glasses - the band aid holding the frames...
MonkeyCatcher and novella:
SURELY YOU JEST! I'm a native New Yorker, and have been eating pizza since I was a lad. As EVERYONE knows, New York Pizza is the bar setter, the standard by which ALL other pizzas are judged.
Same goes for kosher delis, bagel stores and Chinese Take Out places...
It's the only food I can think of that declines in taste with every bite. I mean, the first bite (the pointy end) is the best. The next few bites are still real good, but not quite as good as the point, for some reason. Then you get to the middle and it's still good, but starting to really...
How about the look that Christopher gave Sir Ben through the crack in the seat in the First Class section of the airplane? What a look! A look that could kill!
Well, as I said (I think) I'm not much of a TV fan. I never watched any of those shows you mentioned regularly. Never heard of one of them (Studio One). I've seen enough Honeymooners - that one was great. I couldn't stand Laugh-In. I remember everyone else raving about it though.
Whenever they bring back an old show (that I thought was so great the first time around), I realize how downright awful they really were. You can see re-runs of the oldies. They're bad.
Exception: The Twilight Zone
Excellent point, beer good. Another example is the way Carmella has been asking Tony to get in touch with the building inspector for some time now, and it keeps slipping his mind. It didn't even come up last episode. It feels like all this is happening in "real time". Like OH YEAH, THE...
I just started to watch the series. I'm always way ahead of - or seriously behind - the curve (usually the latter). Anyway, I finally got hooked on it at the end of the last season - and now of course it's (supposedly) ending after this season.
I think it's the best show ever on television...
Thanks.
And by the way, I recorded and added the last part of the Choro so it's now complete.
Now, wait till you see what I'm cooking up for my pet rhinocerous!
