And the last story, Monkey Bottom, is my only Lovecraftian story. Hope you enjoy it.

A Navy Seal is marooned on a tropical island and falls for a beautiful, half-naked native girl. But why are her teeth filed?
Why did monkeys howl in a Virginia tidal swamp? A local newspaperman asks that question of a Ukrainian witch and he's sorry he ever asked.
I've put together a...
I grew up before the Seuss books were around, so I've got to say my favorite remains L. Frank Baum's Wizard of Oz. I enjoyed all his books about Oz. Also, I like your site and will keep it in mind when my anthology of SpaceMonkey stories, "I Scream for Space Pirates," comes out. At this point...
No, I don't get any flak, and I shouldn't. I've been around nearly 6 years, trying to help new writers learn to write and more accomplished writers learn to publish and promote, while I'm doing the same thing, learning as I go. I'm on 3 other writers forums, doing the same thing. I try to make...
I like it, also. I didn't see it coming. One nit: LiXR is the only player closest to the attaining the highest rank in the game - only and closest player seems redundant.
Take care,

Good new review of one of my novels
Got a great review at http://www.historicalnovelreview.com
…and Remember that I Am a Man – The Life of Moses Grandy by John Bushore is a superbly SHOWN story of a strong, humble being born as a Negro, and is an adept portrayal of his life from...
Yeah, I put 2 books up for free 2 weeks ago. One was downloaded 850 times, the other 220. The first week's sales after the give-away went from 2 before hesale to 16 after, and from 0 to 2. I hope that's a good sign.

I've done the same and two of my books, Necessary Evil and The Prisoners of gender are free at Kindle today and tomorrow. I'll be posting my feelings about the experiment on the forum as it goes on.

A Great Book - FREE!
It's not the writer's birthday, but you can still help to fulfill his wishes.
Necessary Evil is a historical coming-of-age novel about an orphaned native, living on the tiny island of Tinian during World War II. He is afraid of his Japanese overlords, and he doesn't trust...
You can go to elance http://www.elance.com and offer the job to freelance translation contractors. You can decide not to award the job to any of the bidders, but you'll have an idea of the cost. If you want to make your book available in Europe (in English), you can upload it to this site...
I don't understand the time lag. I've now published 5 novels with createspace. Once I've uploaded my content and cover, I can order a proof within a day or two. You can also publish without a proof, but I definitely do not recommend doing so.
Also, one of my novels was 135,000 words and it...
Don't you know how to google? Oh, well, here's the deal.
They're on both the SFWA and Writer Beware sites as a scam, basically. ALERTS FOR WRITERS
I'd advise you to steer clear.
