What do you eat while you read?

I hold no prejudices when it comes to reading and eating. Anything that doesn't require two hands for eating is fair game. I don't really like reading in bed - it makes me too sleepy. Nothing worse than trying to reading while falling asleep - in the morning I can't remember a word of what I...

Water Water everywhere, but not a drop is drunk

I'm surprised that's not on the list: dehydration causes headaches. Drinking water also keeps the kidney happy, and a happy kidney makes for a happy Renee.

    Most Disappointing Authors?

Terry Goodkind He took an incredibly interesting story and wrote it in such a way that it only serves to make me scream. Characters will at times repeat the same dialogue for two pages, and not only do they repeat the dialogue for two pages in one book but they will repeat it throughout the...

    Widening my taste in books

I think being part of TBF will expand my reading horizons. Even though I read across genres, there are still a lot of books that I probably pass over but may otherwise enjoy reading.

Why you would never read trashy romance novels

Romance doesn't offer anything to my personal sense of taste. I tried reading a few when I was in my teens and it just didn't hold my interest the way horror did. I honestly find encyclopedias more interesting than romance - but that's just me.

    Hello

Thank you, everyone, for the warm welcome. I'm working towards a BA in anthropology. I enjoy doing research - I don't like writing so much though. Number one hobby right now is nature photography. I wonder how many more books I could actually read if I didn't spend so much time online...
