Wouldn't say it is different, lies. If you've got this particular problem by all means get help--victim or perpetrator. But (IMHO) this is a book discussion web site not a support group. Again IMHO its not the kind of thing that lends itself to discussion in a forum like this, even though...
They underrate him to their own detriment. Great writer who happened to write SF. The nerve. Welcome aboard. (BTW, There's a few Heinlein discussions in the SF and Fantasy Forum.)
I bought a new (to me) Heinlein, "Time Enough for Love," and the first of Terry Brooks Shanarra series--its a tome, I'm telling you--I'll start one of them soon. And I'm currently reading

One of my favorite Fantasy authors, Joel Rosenberg, has a new murder novel out, "Murder in Lamut." I have no idea what its like but there you go. He's a good writer but I've not read it.
Here's a good link for new Sci Fi:

I've heard of most of these but I had to go way down the list before I found any Authors I'd read. Time to try something new I guess.
Overkill, IMHO. It's possible that they had come across some planets who could defend against that sort of attack. Probably they were sitting up there thinking: man, this is a cakewalk. Could have thought we were disguising our true technology level?
