I agree Sanyuja - the list of books you want as a gift can be quite handy. I always write one around Christmas time, even though most people don't get the hint.
John Saul is good. I've just purchased Guardian and have read most of his books. He writes horror (obviously) and it's very child based, Suffer the Children, The God Project. They're not bad. Give 'em a try.
I have a "Book of Books" which I carry around. It has every book I own in it by author. That way, I don't double buy which can happen with someone like Lawrence Block where I've read many more than I own!
Hi bookies. Ok. "My Sister's Keeper" by Jodi Piccoult. It's the next book for my book club. I've yet to read it but I've heard everything from "I loved it! That's why I suggested it to Book Club" to "Here, you can have the damn book! I couldn't get past page 65". The story has been ruined for me...

I've read 2 of his books, "Anyone you want me to be" and "Obsession". It's difficult at times to read biographies, especiallty about serial killers as there are so many characters in the peripheral.
Anyone recommend a biographical writer as good as John Douglas?
