I'm reading Hornet's Nest right now(I'm loving it).
I can take almost any amount of violence as long as there's a good story in it :).
Form ost overrated books I'd have to go with Harry Potter. Than again, I'm not really big on fantasy to begin with.
Trust me, not as awesome as it sounds. Bosch's first person narrative is very boring, even though out of McEvoy and him, he's definitely the cooler character(if that makes sense.).
Void Moon is in the library today. After I get out of school, my mom is going to take me to pick it up.
I have a bookmark that I've used for 7 years. I bought it back in my 6th grade year, and I'm still using it now.
It's with this saying on it:
"Never judge a book by its movie."
Please excuse my French, but the way The Poet went out was shit. The Narrows is a very boring book, I love Bosch in a 3rd person perspective, but in 1st person I hate him. McEvoy actually has a pretty cool 1st person perspective.
I just really wished that McEvoy was the one to have the final...
Void Moon is another Connelly novel I've been meaning to check out. Although it's probably gonna be sooner rather than later, because my book I wanted is taking forever to come in.
Chasing The Dime is another one of his stand-alone's I plan on reading. You read it yet Tai Mai Shu?
Ya know...
I actually liked The Scarecrow a lot more. The Poet is a very good novel, but The Scarecrow is a great novel. It's mainly because I liked the cyber part of The Scarecrow. Carver was a good villain too.
Anybody gonna get The Drop this month? I might wait a little while before reading, because...
Anybody catch this last night? I watched it this morning, and I have to say, I already have high hopes for this show. Thomas Durant is a very cool and collected villain, with all the other character being very compelling as well.
If you didn't watch the Pilot last night, tape for sometime this...
Bruce Campbell is the King of Kings, that's how epic he is. He has a cameo in all of Sam Raimi's movies. I remember at the end of Darkman, if you look close, Liam Neeson's character transformed into Bruce Campbell.
"Hail to the King"
Well, I finished The Girl Who Played With Fire. Here's my review:
Plot Summary: Mikael Blomkvist hires a journalist who is doing research on an underground sex trade organization. That reporter is then murdered. The funny thing is, the murder weapon used to kill the newly hired journalist and...
I've read The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. The first 100 pages of it was bit rough to get through. Mainly because I find the fiance boring.
But after I got done with Salander's little side-plot with Bjurman, it started getting really good. I'm reading the second book right now. On page 268 I...
I'm already 100 pages into The Girl Who Played With Fire. Started out on a better note than The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo did,but I don't think it's as good.
I noticed that you're reading a Harlan Coben book. Care to share your thoughts on it? My English 4 teacher has been telling me how great he is, and I was just curious of what you think of him.
I have a couple of Coben's books on my to-read list.
^Oh, I see
My library has an online service, where I can browse the whole county's shelves, without stepping a foot in their door. I also place my holds online, and it takes my library 2-3 days to get my books in.
Stieg Larssson: The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo
Summary: Mikael Blomkvist is a journalist down on his luck. He is being sent to jail for libel in a story he wrote, and his paper is on the edge of closing. A man called Henrik Vanger appears and proposes Mikael a huge offer: 7 million Kroner for...
I am also using it, and have built a pretty massive to-read list from it.
It's too complicated for me to break my books into individual shelves. I just have 3 shelves: read, currently-reading, and to-read
