    Vote for October 2010 BOTM

I voted for Blood Work. I've only read one two Crais novels,Hostage and The Watchman. Hostage I loved, but The Watchman sucked(IMO). Joe Pike had the personality of a cardboard box(Although Elvis Cole was cool as hell). So basically,is L.A Requiem told through Cole's POV or Pikes, and if it is...

    Jeff Lindsay: Dexter is Delicious

I hope this redeems the last two Dexter books.Design was meh, and Dexter in The Dark sucked! The only good thing that the third book had was the horror, and the scariest of the series. Dearly Devoted is my favorite of the series, and one of the best books I've ever read, but Delicious sounds very...

    Jim Butcher: Changes

The first thing you see in this book is Harry Dresden getting a call from Susan that his child is in trouble. Now Dresden has to help Susan regain their daughter from the grip of Arianna Ortega, the wife of a vampire Dresden fought back in Death Masks. My opinion: Changes is perfect title...

    Recommendation need on mystery authors

The Lincoln Rhyme novels are like that. Although the majority of the series suck,I'd highly recommend The Coffin Dancer. Or you can go with The Dresden Files series, which deals with a wizard who is an investigator of paranormal cases in modern day Chicago.

    Doubling Up

At most,I read three books all at the same time. It's become my usual reading now. Although if one of the three books hits 700 pages, I'll have to read it by itself, when I clean out my currently reading list. I also read political thrillers by themselves, as they are very complicated for me.
