    New Forum Possibility for Authors

Idea. What if The Book Forum setup an entry process to determine if books are worthy of discussion here? Something in the form of the author of said book sending a copy to one (or each) of the moderators for evaluation... then the moderators, after reading (or simply thumbing...

    New Forum Possibility for Authors

I earlier PM'd all moderators (except for Ice, since his inbox was full at the time) my concerns about this issue. This horse is well flogged, but we still need to turn it into glue.

    The Therapy Thread

(letter taped to the office door) Dearest Novella and Leckert, Our sessions from today forward will have to be cancelled, as you can probably determine by peering through the etched glass in front of you. See that body lying on the floor, next to the red-soaked, half-eaten sandwich? That's...

Carlos Ruiz Zafón: The Shadow of the Wind

Great premise; horrible book. I should have known better than to pick up this book based on the many great reviews (6 posts so far...) in this thread.

Book Ring: Palindrome Hannah As inspired by another thread, I officially start the Palindrome Hannah book ring. Now is your time to read PH if you didn't feel like forking out the money (now all you have to pay is shipping from one forum member to another). For those interested, put in your...

    The Therapy Thread

Dr. Smirky: Seriously people, the sign on the door does not read "THE RAPIST"; It reads "THERAPIST". And Leckert, stop leaving me voicemails. I am not into carribou... or rabbits... or sheep... or Canadians... And Novella, you're a day late on payment; please slide it under the door. Thank you...
