How was it? I'm going to start my first Parker book here shortly after I finish reading my current book.

I'm curious about this one too. It's started to get some hype here in the states.

Red - really fun movie and doesn't take itself seriously. It kinda reminds me of Knight and Day. :stars4:

I agree. I used to read a lot of his books but he started putting out so many books it's so really hard to understand if he he's put any effort writing a good story. I don't even remember the last book I've read from him.

I see you are a combat sports fan like myself. I haven't been able to watch it but when it's available on Netflix then I will catch up on it.

My guess is it's the future with everything basically going paperless.

My recommedation is not to read them out of order.

Usually when somebody comes in and hype up a book with their only post it probably is a scam or more like spam.

Anything but romance. I read mostly mystery and sometimes thriller and sci-fi.

Finished Jeffery Deaver's Sleeping Doll - It was an okay read. I don't think the villian was that great but have to give credit to Deaver this time for not adding to many twists that ruin the book. :stars3:

Hmm...good question. I've never done it but I have done the opposite. There have been times where I thought certain books were going to be a gem because of the 45 or 50 people review it gave it all a 4 or 5 starts. I picked it up only to be disappointed then come to realize that all that...

One of his best book if not his best book.

That's really sad that CMF left us. He was one of the few here that I respected along with Libra and Sparkchaser. I do agree with him that people who are miserable are the one that hates the world and try to put everybody down and make them as miserable as they are.
