Deaver's earlier books are a lot better than his recent books. I will warn you that one of his books (I won't name which one) is kinda of ridiculous with all the twists and turn that it was a turn off but other than that enjoy.

Michael Connelly is very very good. I highly recommend those. The last Lincoln Rhyme novel I read was Cold Moon but the last book from Jeffery Deaver I read was The Sleeping Doll.

I have Mystic River sitting at home and hopefully will get to it down the road. I like the twist in Shutter Island and I had a feeling that is what was happening the whole time. It's still a very good read though.

The only one I read was Shutter Island. The movie does a really good job of staying true to the book.

It's a fast pace read no doubt. The chapters are really short like James Patterson. I actually think books with both of them writing it is better than their solo.

Read any good mystery lately?

It's funny because I started the second one and got about 100 pages in and thought to myself that the book feels different than the first one. I will eventually start this again.

I actually like it. It's got a lot of interesting characters and yes it was confusing but once you figure out what's going on, it's really neat.

Picking up Michael Connelly's Fifth Witness tomorrow.
