When I saw the trailer, my first thought was wow, way to butcher the book. I hope people read the book first before the see the movie because it's a great book but I got a feeling Hollywood will screw it up.
I have to admit I was half way through that book and couldn't finish it. I promise myself I would keep if off the shelf for two years and forget about everything and start fresh again. I'm a big Baldacci fan and have to say that it was a disappointment to me. I hope he gets back to Oliver...
I would start from the beginning but I'm told you don't have to read them in order. I finished Killing Field recently and I enjoyed that one a lot. I got 30 pages left in Die Trying while it's good it wasn't as good as the first one. I'm a newbie to Lee Child so I don't have much to offer...
Connelly is a genius and I haven't found anybody near as good as him.
You can try David Baldacci, Robert Crais, and I started reading Lee Child and have been impressed so far. Tess Gerristen is another good one.
Battle Los Angeles
The film is a mixture of Black Hawk Down, District 9 and Independence Day. I really enjoy the action though at times it was like watching Cloverfield because the camera was moving too fast for you to see anything. You won't get much acting or plot but if you want action...
Finished Killing Floor by Lee Child yesterday. It was amazing. There were a couple flaws but who cares right. The story was great and I started Die Trying yesterday. 4.5/5
Unstoppable - I enjoyed it and as usually Denzel was solid. I don't know how much of the story is true but it was a good edge of your seat thriller. 8/10
I haven't read the Gideon and there is a short wait. I like the Relic. What I like about it is the characters. Pendergast, D'Agotsa, Frock, Green, and several others all are great. What I like about this book is that it's easy to distinguish the secondard secondary characters. I'm in the...
