    Buy books?

I go to either Coles/Chapters or a local second hand bookshop. I also do go to the library. I try not to buy books as much as possible, unless I know that I really want the book; if I don't, then I usually borrow from a library.

    I'm stuck

Thanks to everybody's advice; I was stuck on Chapter 9 at the time of the post and have made significant advances and could possibly be done in the next few days (I'm on Chapter 29 at the moment).

    Book High

I get mine when I purchase a new book, when I get something I purchased through the mail months ago (aka Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows), when I have read a bunch, and when I finish a book.

Depends on the book; if its a part of series or its a really good book, then I usually re-read the book :)

    How Long Between Books?

Depends on when I finish the book and what type of book I am reading, but usually I start a new one right away.

    Sicko by Michael Moore

As a citizen of a country who has universal health care, the main problem is that people really can't get the care that they want and end up going to the US to get the care that they want. We also have a problem of beds closing and patients moved to Washington State on occasion. Overall its...

    I'm stuck

I don't know why but I keep getting hung up on Goblet of Fire and about half way through I just stop reading. I also seem to read slower when I am reading GoF and was wondering if anybody has any suggestion as to how I should go about reading the book and reading it quickly. I don't use any...

    Audiobooks for iPods/Macs

I've never checked, but from what I can see in the library, the selection is kinda hit and miss. I'll have to check the online catalogue. Most of the selection of audiobooks that they have on CDs are of books that have been in print for a while. I'm going to phone the library system to see if...

How "On The Road" became published

While I was only able to hear about half of the report from NPR, the information was very interesting. I studied On the Road back when I was in university and it became one of my favourite books that I read through a class (one of the others was "All Quiet on the Western Front"). Its...

    Audiobooks for iPods/Macs

I am wondering if anybody knows a system that allows for people with iPods and Macs can easily download audiobooks, other than borrowing CDs from the public library. I would really like to download an audiobook for free. Thanks.

    June 2007 reads

Could you please take this somewhere else? This is not the subject of the thread! This is not the place for this type of advertisement. Just because you liked a book does not mean that every one needs to check the book out, cause I am not going to.

You know you're addicted to reading when...

Guilty as well. When you go to the library and the librarians ask you if you have anything to pick up, even though you don't have anything to pick up :)
