    Reading in October

I'm reading 'Enchanter' by Sara Douglass... I'm currently halfway through and have to wait till I get the next book of the series. German publishers tend to split the english original editions, so instead of three books in the UK/US, it's six in Germany. :(

I'm looking for a vocabulary program

I would recommend 'Vokabeln 2000' to you. It's german, but that shouldn't be a problem for you. ;) ..and it's freeware.

    Recently Purchased/Borrowed

I picked up "Ensel und Krete" by Walter Moers today. I loved "The 13 1/2 lives of captain bluebear" by him... Besides, "L'etranger" by Albert Camus to work a bit on my french and "The Code Book" by Simon Singh.

I keep record of the books I have read and of the books that are to be published in the near future. Otherwise I would so easily forget about them. As for the books I want to buy, I plan to put them all on my Amazon wish list.

I'm not a speed reader. But in comparison with my classmates I'm a fast reader. But that depends on what I read. Most important is the language: I managed the German translation of 'Middlesex' in two days, but 'Life of Pi' will definitely take a bit longer, as well as 'Le petit prince'.

    Euro 2004

I watched the game with my grandmother today (strangely enough: I've got a really big family and my grandmothers and me are the only ones who watch the euro  ). It was a bit frustrating, because we actually did quite well in the second half. :( Well, such is life! At least my sister...

    Another Newbie..

Finally made it! :) Have been lurking around for quite some time now... ..and it's such a great place here! Well, I'm from Germany and still go to school, thus my english isn't perfect yet. But I'll do my best. ;) I'm currently reading 'Life of Pi', but I am usually more...
