I like the elves very much, because of their beautiful language and their cool abilities (like seeing and hearing extremely well). But I also like humans. I guess because they are just so... well, human ;) .

Since you make me pick only one I'd have to say the Harry Potter books, because I enjoy reading them so much. If I could pick another one I'd say Lord of the Rings because of the languages!!!
