I tend to buy books on recommendation. Amazon is great at suggesting books i'd like. Going through a crime thriller spell at the minute (Connelly, Coben, Reichs etc..) Other than that, I have picked up a few recommendations on here :)

Just finished Tell No One by Harlan Coben. Very impressed. Read it in about 4 sittings. Might have to check out some of his other work :)

Mine is Waterstones. One of the Waterstones in Birmingham is 6 stories high. Always like visiting book stores. Never really get much chance though due to work......95% of my books are ordered off Amazon.co.uk

When i'm reading, I always have my iPod on blasting away. Can't read in silence. Usually listen to Indie/Rock (Kings of Leon, Libertines, Killers, Oasis etc....)

There are just too many books out there I want to read without slowing myself down by re-reading ones I have already got.

Jilianne Hoffman's two books are set mainly in Miami and southern Florida. They are grisly crime thrillers though :)
