    yeah! I'm with you. The Silmarillion was a long and boring book about the history and folklore of Middle-Earth, I think I caught myself snoring a few times while reading it.

    Black, Red, White trilogy by Te Dekker

    Awesome I read the first (Black) and am halfway through the second (Red) and I can't bring myself to put it down. This is considered christian Sci-fi/fantasy but is not over the top, so I believe anyone should like it. If you are into christian sci-fi I would also suggest Arena by Karen...

    Christian Fantasy and Science Fiction

    I was wondering if anyone has read any good christian based SciFi/Fantasy? The only one I've read is "Dragonspell" by Donita K. Paul and it was suprisingly good. :)
