    Love: as a subtle emotion

I don't speak english good enough to describe what is love for me. Extraordinary feeling, which makes you do things, that you would never do. All you want to do with your beloved is to sit next to her, saying nothing and drowning in her eyes. You feel comfortable and you want to tell her all...

    Polish books

IMO there's no such thing as Polish writing style. It depends on epoch, that book was written in.

    National Stereotypes

Wird sense of humour is known as English humour. If someone is very mean, we call him Scotsman. Are polish stereotypes odd?

What do you do with a book you've read?

When I read a book, I usually give it back to the library. My books are sleeping on the bookshelf and wainting for re-reading.

    Polish books

Such an old topic! Joseph Conrad said, that he couldn't write in other language, than english. But he was proud of being Pole. [Conrad is his 2nd name. His surname is Korzeniowski :P]. Jerzy Pilch is great writer. I'm addicted to his books. I didn't know, that his works were translated...

    Polish books

Well done! :) Thx :) @Kenny Shovel: IMHO Gombrowicz is one of the greatest polish writers. Unfortunately, he wrote tangly (not appropriate word, perhaps) books. I'd read 'Transatlantyk' and I was extreamly amazed. He is undeniable worth reading! Szymborska is great, too.
