Well i've just left school, i read in school a lot (mainly when i had nothing to do in lessons) a lot of people called me a geek and a looser, but it didint really bother me because i have a lot of friends at school and they were the ones the respected my choice to read and didnt give a shit.
I'm definatley a casual reader but i do love reading, but with gcse's and other hoobys there is not always time for reading, cant wait for the summer though :)
With bandpractice 3 days a week at 7-11 and schoolwork/home work before band practice and other days and the bmx that i do, i'm lucky to get an hour a day reading.
I'm a boy (well i hope i still am... yup i am) and i love reading, but i have to agree boys compared to girls that read in their teens girls win by a vast majority but even in my school the majority of girls dont read either
I'm 15 and i've been reading for leisure for about 3 years, but it is true that young eople dont read enough, all my friends cant understand why i read but they dont care, the only other person i know who reads is my gf :P
