Nothing that hasn't been said before but then again, there isn't much that hasn't been done yet I suppose.
As for a book, it doesn't seem to amount to much. Just seems like a bunch of phrases from a self help book - or a fortune cookie. I think it's trying to straddle the line between...
There is legal prositution in Nevada, USA. It won't ever become legal anywhere else for a long long time, due to the power of the religious right here in America.
I don't know if this has been suggested, but do you know anyone else who WOULD like it? You may be able to deflect it with: "I started reading it, but its not my type. But so&so saw it and really seems interested in it, so Im going to let her read it instead - as its more her cup of tea."
While I agree that the NCAA commercials claiming because student comes first in the phrase, that it is somehow a priority or inherent order, I disagree about the ethnicity analogy - as it is remarkably similar. Despite the fact that people are born in America, ask them what they think they are...
Yeah, I don't like to flame...well I do actually but thats beside the point. It would be one thing if they were already an active member here and wanted to crosspost but she signed up just to spam her reviews. :)
Anyone else enjoy this book. I loved it when I was a young pup, and I still pick it up from time to time. I read the sequel too I believe, but didn't enjoy it quite as much.
You are not going to be able to get a page or site that is just about you and your books to rank that highly for such generic keywords. As Stewart said, SEs ignore meta keywords (but not descriptions!) so your best bet is for links but not so much for the PR they give but for the traffic. Have...
Libraries rock. Not only do they have Books, but you can get DVDs and CDs as well. Librarians are also pretty knowledgable folk. Books are relatively expensive, so yes...I get most of my reading material from the library but if I know I want it in my permanent collection I will order it...
Actually, I can, I do, and you should. If one needs to know everything that has happened previously in order to comprehend or even enjoy the present story, then the author has failed. If the characters fail to be fully fleshed out in a particular book, the author has failed. If the story is...
Try Poetry 180 , its a great book of contemporary, easily accessible poems assembled by the Poet Laureate of the US. They were chosen to be down to earth and supplement the Poem a Day program; so they are able to be read by ANYONE, regardless of your literature background. Some of them are...
no ones read these? ive read the light of other days cowritten by the both of them and enjoyed that somewhat. I'm about a quarter of the way through this one and I have a mixed feelings about it. It's a little too slow and there has been too little alluding to the main premise/climax.
Don't forget the Garden of Beasts....a bit of a different twist for Deaver as it is historical fiction set in Nazi Germany. He manages to maintain his trademark cat and mouse, small timeframe format. It's an excellent read, especially for those new to his works. Im finishing up an interview...
Definitely several at once. I usually have several just for university literature classes, then a fiction novel of my own choosing and usually a nonfiction book as well. It is good to be able to switch it up depending on your mood...especially if you don't have the time to just sit down and...
I got The Hackers Ethic the other day for 2$US and one time I ordered Neil Gaiman's American Gods on Amazon and got sent a first edition, signed copy. :)
Wondering what everyone thinks about this series. I've just picked up book two and havent gotten far so I havent decided yet. Clarke is a master, so I am confident I will enjoy it. I just wanted to see if anyone else has any opinions on these books?
