    Bonk's Bar, Chapter 1

You should work on sentence structure; most of the sentences have the same type of framework. Some details seem forced in where they needn't be, for instance, the description of the news broadcaster. The reader doesn't care about the braodcaster, unless you plan to have the man play a larger...

    Recent Postmodern Literature...

I'll be researching that right now, thanks. I can't seem to find anything on it at all... would you mind directing me somewhere? Hehe, thanks.

    Recent Postmodern Literature...

I've been reading a lot of postmodern work lately, and I already have some classic postmodern books waiting for me to being soon enough. What I'm a big fan of is beautiful prose, that includes the complex as well, I don't care for books with sparse language (not even if it has a good concept)...

Im thinking about publishing a short story i have written.....

Even with your caveat of this short story being serious... I do still believe this is a joke. However, such a story could be written, and would be fairly entertaining, I recommend you look into the genre "bizarro". But for it to be entertaining, you'd need to have some experience at writing...

    Thomas Pynchon

I disagree. I haven't enjoyed many books as much as Against the Day (I'm even enjoying it more than Gravity's Rainbow), it's filled with beautiful prose, a lot of humor (one major difference compared to Gravity's Rainbow), and intricately woven storytelling. Against the Day seems, to me, to...

    Thomas Pynchon

Yes, it's almost manditory for me to read with that wikipedia page next to me. I guess it just never expounded on the questions I asked. Thanks for replying, though. And by the way, I love the book so far, I started reading past where I was stuck last night.

    Thomas Pynchon

So after about a month of researching beforehand, I started Against the Day last week, and since this past Friday, I've been stuck on page 62. Would anyone mind explaining to me some things... Why does Merle think that Morley and Morgan are the same person despite their obvious aesthetic and...
