    John Grisham: The Broker

Sofia I can't remember the name of the book (the one before the King of Torts) - it might have been The Testament - but it was about a guy who came back to his hometown to take over a newspaper. I quite enjoyed that but it didnt have the pace of his early stuff.

Can You Part With Them Easily?

I like the concept that they have in Spain for the tourists - The Book Swap Shop. They give you one or two euro's for your old book (as in the one you just spent £10 on at WH Smiths in the Airport) and you buy one of their traded in books for three or four euro's. The way I look at it, at...

    Advice Needed

Should I presume that you've read Clancy? Rainbow Six was pretty good. You could try the Andy McNab or Chris Ryan books - both guys are ex-22 SAS and they know their stuff technically. Bravo Two Zero and The One That Got Away are pretty good books (both about an SAS mission in IRAQ 1)

What is that James Joyce crap..and what the fucks a "full wagging bub". Did somebody say it's not about understanding it, it's all about the ride...deja vu to me telling my wife it's not about the size!!! I prefer to understand a book given the choice...crazy but true. I mean what's the...

    John Grisham: The Broker

Yeah, I agree he's gone off the boil a bit - didn't he write something about baseball or something recently??? 'King of Torts' was pretty good though - not back to his 'A Time to Kill' or 'Pelican Brief' days but pretty old school Grisham all the same. I think The Broker must have been the...

    Amazon Reviews: Harriet Klausner

Just had a look at the reviews that she's done. I agree she couldnt comment on the smell of shit - she seems to read purely shit (and a lot of it) to the point that her senses are immune. Cut and paste. Cut and paste. Cut and paste. Hey, each to their own and all that, but if you produce a...

    Literary Agents

Kind of what I thought, but I'm new to this and the company looks reputable. I balance this out by thinking if this is a scam, wouldnt they be asking for more????

    Does this opening grab you?

How To Be Brilliant I know a guy quite who wrote the above mentioned book. I wnet one of his courses a few years ago with a colleague of mine - the book has its corny parts like any self-help stuff, but it is quite personal in regard to self development and staying chipper. A good read -...
