The catch 22 is that you probably take steps to keep tracking to a minimal online which gives advertisers very little tools to effectively serve relevant ads to you, hence why you are seeing the ads you are.

I guess I don't understand the privacy concerns when it comes to free services. Facebook and Google are not required sites to be a part of. Each and every person volunteered signing up and filling out their life on a website. Just seems that expectation of privacy ends when you give up private...
