Sarah Kane was an English playwright, who I think is great! She has only written five plays, but all incredibly good.
“Crave” and “4.48 Psychosis” are my favourites.
Anyone else read anything by her or heard of her (or seen any of her plays)?

I read "Norwegian Wood" first, which I didn't like. "The Wild Sheep Chase" after that, which was ok. Then his best (in my opinion, so far): "The Wind-up Bird Chronicle". Now I am reading "The Elephant Vanishes"- all the short stories in there are pretty good, all in their own way.
"Garden of Eden" stayied in my mind for a few days, but I think wabbit, is right, my teacher ruined it for me. We didn't get a chance to think for ourself what "Hills Like White Elephants" where all about, since she told us it, right after we finished reading it. So it was quite a "shock" to all...
So you didn't finish it? I heard that it's VERY well "received" in Italy. I didn't like it at all. Some good parts, but you left wondering what was "wrong" with the girl, you weren't convinced when she told her reasons for why she was doing what she did, no sympathy from my side.
