Hello MC,
Not sure what's happening with this, it may be a bit late for it to be held tomorrow now at any rate - so perhaps it'll get bumped til next week. If I don't chat to you beforehand then - Good Luck with your exams, not that you need it :) .
DS, I have gotten hold of another Mic...
late sunday evening for you (DS) would make it afternoon for me which would be perfect. But it'd be morning for Lady C and Sofia - if they're ok with it, might work - plus we've still to hear from Monkeycatcher.
Hello ValkyrieRaven88,
Welcome back!:)
You've missed all sorts of fun exciting things..nah actually you've missed nothing at all. Good to see you're back, perhaps you can drag Vespertilio here also, he's been MIA for a while.
I'd always heard of the Avalon series, hadn't known that the Firebrand was a part of it. I'll have to look up the others now,it sounds very readable. No I don't think Fantasy is just for kids, I love a well written, imaginative fantasy book even now.
DS - This Guy something or the other :D -...
Hey DS,
A day longer? I was thinking - he's done that quick!
Sunday would be good for me - but let me know when you are available, and we'll have to wait and see see whether the others are around too. Libre said he would try and stop by if he's available as well - so we'll have a new victim...
Thank you, get some rest, I'll speak to you soon.
He is into old books and antiques so I'll get something along those lines. I'll let you know when I know:rolleyes: .
Goodnight!
I remember The Firebrand and Witch Hill(?) by Marion Zimmer Bradley from my younger days. She was very readable, The Firebrand in particular made quite an impression on me - The Trojan war told from the point of view of Cassandra.
The only fantasy I've read lately was The Earthsea Quartet...
I bet that's what AJ says! Just make sure you don't fall asleep at the desk!
A love interest sort of. Ok the love bit sounds strange though - I prefer - general overall partner for foreseeable future, as long as said future does not exceed a period of 8 months. As you can probably tell I'm...
I'm browsing through amazon for christmas gift ideas - what on earth do you buy for a man that you don't know all that well but will be getting close to?
1am? you're tired and loopy, go to bed, we'll chat another time.
Yes reading is a great form of escapism. Which fantasy books have you read lately? What music do you prefer?
No I wouldn't say that Stewart is prolific spammer - in fact I think he more than makes up for it with his reviews and what not.
Like mother like son then .
er don't know about the superclub, not sure they let spammers in :D
Oh jeez, I really don't know how you do it, and you always sound so upbeat and bubbly - even on the skypecast you were amazing. For sure stick with a doctor that you are comfortable with, the...
The one that comes to mind is same word different meaning - you guys call a ladies er behind a fanny, over here it means something different.
others that come to mind;
we say bathroom, you say washroom (or is that just the Canadians?)
we say mobile phone, you say cell phone
you say eraser...
I thought you'd like the title ;) :D
Yes, I'm looking forward to seeing his picture, he sounded like a little angel. Give him a little time and then he'll be telling you about all the different dinosaurs. I'd say it's not how much you do with him - but how you make use of the time that you...
lady.cordelia, you're coherent :) .
eyez,- I just saw the cover for Something Wicked Comes This Way on amazon and it truly is awful - I would never even look twice at that book let alone buy it based on that cover. Of course perhaps it fits the book, I'll just have to take your word for it...
