I thought I'd be neat to have a thread in which each person would post an interesting and hopefully little known fact. I think you pick up a lot of random knowledge when you're an avid reader (or an internet junkie) so this is the perfect place to share it. I'll go first:
I just learned that...
Of course it's real. But even if it wasnt, creating stricter environmental policies to combat it wouldnt be a BAD thing...unless you own a corporation that would lose profits. Sounds like incentive enough to pay off the right people to discredit the theory.
I just saw the news on George R.R. Martin's blog: http://grrm.livejournal.com/11326.html
HBO is making a tv series adaption of the Song of Ice and Fire fantasy series, one of the best high fantasy series out there. I'm so excited! I know this will turn out great.
Thoughts???

It's informative. I'm afraid that all of the criticism of the current administration (true as it is) may turn off some potential viewers. Still, it's good that this will get the information out to people.
I'm so looking to seeing this movie! I'm a sucker for bloody action flicks. It's about the Battle of Thermopylae and is based on graphic novels by Frank Miller (the Sin City guy). Who else is excited?!
