i hope you fulfill your wishes. i would love doing the same. a man i used to work for between highschool and college, who was literally a billionaire, frequently went on egyptian digs and other places in the middle east and taught a class at NYU for a while. he was a...
for those of you that might have gotten a PM from mrs.claus - that was me!
and for those that got a reply to any posts, it was me just trying to relay a message that i wanted to convey without revealing my identity since i was a secret santa that couldn't get a gift delivered to my twins...
my daughter has been reading some of that, too. she was studying vikings and barbarians earlier this year, but has now moved onto a bit later period of medieval history.
there were a couple of really good fiction books she liked that we read as part of the educational process. if you want...
neither - Dr. Pepper (diet or regular is fine - actually give me the good old-fashioned kind with real cane sugar in a glass bottle COLD)!
whoops! that is way off topic now! lol!
i can't think of an answer to the fear question, because it doesn't affect me. i'll wait for the next one.

well, i may need to plan an intervention. you are just too complacent about your recovery.
all is well, as i mentioned in the PM. just nasty migraines. i feel bad for her. i had them as a kid, still have them.
i am totally with you there on this. my quality of reading and the enjoyment of it has gone up drastically since joining BAR. i do go to the book store often, but i know in the back of my mind what i might be looking for. it is so much better to get well thought out and quality reviews here...

I agree with Ions selection of authors, though!
Ask Dire Straits about some fantasy novels, as I see a...
do you not like lord of the rings - the PJ trilogy (not the animated crap)?
if you ever read Mists of Avalon, then don't see the movie after. See the movie first. I was horribly disappointed in the movie because i read the novel first. Not sure if I would have liked it without reading it...
the kids and i have been sick one after another in a cycle. :( so i haven't been around much. i didn't even check my email for nearly a week! which is huge for me. one of the twins is really struggling and we aren't sure what is going on. she is seeing a neurologist tomorrow. she has had...
i've missed you! glad to see you back.
now, i jumped in the middle of a conversation i have no idea about. how does gem know how you sound? did you get in on a skype i missed??? (nevermind - i read and think i see where that is coming from or maybe i'm just still clueless - sounds about...
TUNDRA! waving excitedly to "see" you! oh, and you missed the open door. i posted about it but you weren't here! ;)
and you didn't post latin! you know latin don't you?
i know a tiny bit of spanish, a fair amount of a dialect of french (but not quite the standard french you hear in...
those were hilarious and i totally believe they were true.
i used to own a medical transcription company. you would not believe what they would say sometimes. i was a part of an online community for transcriptionists and we would type quotes of the day (there were court reporters, legal...
