Ive finished The Street Lawyer, which I really liked. It was a bit of a predictable ending, where the goody always wins. I still thought the way it was phrased and the descriptions were fantastic. The books make great films, which is why there are short scenes in the same places - like films.
Seeing as Mark Chatman was reading it while he waited for the police after he shot John Lennon, maybe its not such as fantastic nomination for this month or week...
Well, in terms of which books I like, I'm one for all sorts. I've been reading Stephen Fry, and am also a Harry Potter addict. At the moment I'm reading lighter stuff as Richard III at school is a bit heavy.
I think that, as a duo, they really work very well. I have read most of Stephen Fry's books, except The Stars' Tennis Balls. Is Hugh Laurie as good a writer?
