    Reading Middle Earth Books In Order

    I've only read Lord of the Rings and The hobbit . I didnt finish the Hobbit because it bored me to death. But Lord of the Rings is brilliant, and I feel could easily be read on it's own. rune

    I havent been disappointed in Brook's books until this one. I have really enjoyed his characters and loved how he uses magic in his plots. But I felt this book should have concentrated more on the Isle Witch character instead of flying off into a different direction :( rune

    I hadnt read anything by this author before and was very pleasantly surprised after finishing this book. It had a different feel to any other fantasy I have read before and I found the oriental theme in the story refreshing too. Has anyone else got any thoughts on this book? rune
