I recently watched LitW and, while I did like it, found it nowhere near as enjoyable as his earlier films. The Sixth Sense was fantastic, left me stumbling out of the cinema in a kind of daze, and it is the kind of movie that you (or I, at least) can watch many times and pick up on new things...
Tuna in the Brine or After All These Years by silverchair, but that's harking back to high school days.
More recent are The Wine Song by The Cat Empire and Peaches and Cream by The John Butler Trio.
Gettin' my Aussie pride on :)
I may have to cheat and make up another username (Peronel2, perhaps?) so I can get another 200 up. I assume I can do this..... yes I can.
EDIT: just realised the pointlessness of this idea. Forget I said anything!
I would suggest......vertically.
Or, take your cue from High Fidelity and arrange alphabetically, chronologically by release date, or chronologically by date you bought them.
What a great idea! It took a lot longer than I thought. Here's mine, not including books that are scattered across the house or textbooks.
Hey jayne, we share 14 books. Nice!
Either you've been very, very lucky, or you have problems that you're unaware of.
I'd switch to Firefox, or another highly recommended browser. They're free, and oh so much better for your comp.
I have Firefox 1.5.0.9 - completely awesome, I can't believe I used Internet Explorer (which I also have) for so long. I've heard good things about Opera, but haven't felt the need to change over yet.
Off the top of my head, I like delicious (as pronounced by Buster in AD when he's thinking of an english muffin).
Can I say my least favourite word? Please?
Surreptitiously . Ironically, I've never seen that word used in a subtle way.
Stewart, you getting in on this?
Gun to my head, I'd say A&D, possibly because I knew less about the Vatican and related topics than the subject matter of TDVC.
But you know,I may just be jabbering because of the gun pointed at my head. I could just as easily say "French toast, please."
Most of my textbooks fall in the $100 - $120 (Australian) range. Quite a lot to cough up, I think, particularly if you're as half-assed as me and only scan them weeks before exams.
Fiction-wise, I don't think I've paid over $10 for quite some time. In fact, the only new books I've boughht in...
This reminds me of that bit in "Kindergarten Cop":
"Who is your Daddy, and what does he do?".
Anyone? Ehhh...
I'm from a town about 2 hours south-west of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. I'm currently working as a supervisor at a local bakery/cafe, but I'm returning to uni this year to...
In terms of cheesy action, I don't think you can go past "Snakes on a Plane'. My friends and I watched it the other night, man, it was hilarious. I think it must be in Sam Jackson's contract that he must be allowed to say mother------ at least five times per film.
What was even better was the...
erm....quiet and happy for me thanks. But what if your soulmate was rich and famous....uh oh.
Would you rather....... have to sing everything you say for a year or listen to Ween's "Push the little daisy's" non-stop for a year?
