I don't know about Harry, but I'm pretty sure Voldemort will get killed. As to book six, I think either Dumbledore or Hagrid. I agree Dumbledore has the mindset to sacrifice himself for Harry. I think its likely he doesn't make it through all seven books.
If she kills off Mrs or Mr Weasley...
Used book sales, library sales, half.com, amazon's other sellers thingy....
I will only buy new books for my most favorite authors, but have no trouble with 2nd hand books for everyone else. I do try to buy ones that are in decent condition, though.
I never lend out books except to my...
Just finished a final for my behavioral management class...pretty easy exam. I'm much relieved. Now I have to wait around until 7:15pm for my next class...ugh. Thank goodness I brought my copy of Hitchikers Guide with me to read (it includes all six novels, so I won't run out of reading...
Hard Times (Dickens) - loved it
Farenheit 451 (Bradbury) - Loved it
The Scarlet Letter (Hawthore) - Not too bad
My Antonia (Cather) - Hated it
Animal Farm (Orwell) - Hated it
The Great Gatsby (Fitzgerald) - Hated it
Of Mice and Men (Steinbeck) - Not too bad

I know it happens, but I read to escape the world, not to endure its evils. And rape probably isn't as sickening to you, because you're not a female. Yes, men can be raped as well, but woman are usually the victims. The thought of violence towards people sickens me...therefore, I don't read it.
I only get one, because they cost money...then I predominantly buy my books at that one bookstore (be it in the store or online), unless I'm shopping for secondhand books.
OOTP is ok, but I don't feel it lives up to the other books...long-winded is definitely a good term for it. The action picks up a bit, but overall, I was unimpressed.
I will not read a book with a rape scene or any sexual assault...it just sickens me.
Books with people killing others for fun I avoid as well (I do not read horror).
I have a book by her, but have yet to read it. You might also like Katherine Hall Page...and her recipes at the back (the one's I've tried) are good. I know there are a few other cook/mysteries out there, but I've not read them.
I also only read one at a time, because I like to immerse myself in one story at a time. Even when I had to read books for class...I would read those and then return to my books that I was reading for myself.
Slotdave, I have excellent comprehension & retention skills, too...but I would...
