    hello

Hello, Rachel, I'm Nick (though I seriously hope you knew that already!) Welcome to B&R! I know you'll like it. You're enough of a dork in real life! :D Just kidding.

    Stephen King

No, I must admit I haven't read his short stories, but from what I've read of his novels, I haven't liked at all!

    Ick!!!!

Unfortunately for us, we've also had the little critters move in from neighboring fields. I was sitting in my room one night (reading of course! and which is not too messy, at least not as bad as Valkyrie's!) when I saw a grey blob streak from behind my dresser and out into the hall. I must...

    Question Game

Vampires, most definitely. Historical Fiction or Non-Fiction

    Randomness! Yay!

WTF! You know I'm dating Rachel right now! Gah! >.< Are you trying to kill what little feelings I have left! :D But yay that she's here! Tell her hi for me because I'm too stupid!

    Are you a cynic?

Wow, that soooooooooooo proves SFG75's point. You are cynical, and you should enjoy it. I do.

    I Will Not Weep

Only in the deepest fantasies of your subconscious, I believe! :D And I believe the word "whom" should replace the word "who" in your previous declaration, for it was not used in the correct way. ;) :p

    The Revolutionary Cycle

Thank you for the kitty smiley. Any suggestions on the poem? Believe me, it probably could be better. This was one of the hardest poems to write that I've ever tried. I just couldn't think of the right words...and it felt so out of my style, but I wanted to try it.

    Stephen King

I'm sorry to anyone here who enjoys reading King's work, but I despise the author. I think all of his stories are too drawn out. After awhile I forget what happened seventy five pages ago! I also believe he has no true mind for horror. He seems to get a single scary idea, cannot elaborate...

How Many Books Do You Read in a Year (approx.)?

No ds, she isn't. That's my job, and where did you live again? :D I read this year: 35 manga 4 non-manga graphic novels 59 fiction over 500 pages (not including The Historian and The Book of Shadows, which I'm reading right now.) 76 fiction under 500 pages 14 nonfiction Hundreds of...

    Are you a cynic?

Yes I must admit that I am. (if cynicism is what I think it is) I rarely believe in the sanctity of the human nature and I always feel someone is trying to decieve me, swindle me for something. Am I right? p.s. I am not over 30. Cut that in half and you'll get my real age. By the way. What...

    Question Game

My belief that the world is waiting for me to mess up again so they can laugh. No, I'm kidding! Just a cell phone. I HAVE to have it or I go crazy(er). Chips or pretzels?

    Danger, Will Robinson, danger

No she'd probably be dead by now if he still lived there. He's probably a 55 year old grocery clerk who lives in his parents' old house in Massachusetts before they moved to California to get away from him.

    Should eyezOnme be banned?

I don't think so. I think that all of us have a tendency to be a bit crude (I am a prime example, but I don't see a Ban-Vesper thread either); give him a second chance and see if he'll change. Or have the mods pm him with the complaints. It's happened to me before and I am trying to prevent it...

    Freedom Writers

Does anyone else think that this will be an inspiring movie, or am I just the only one. I want to go see it soon; when I will, I don't know! But through the commercials I've seen, it looks like a respected teacher is forced to teach in a high school where drugs, sex, gang violence, and...

    Night At the Museum

Some of my friends went to see that, but I wasn't home, so I didn't get to. Now I really really want to. Thanks a lot you guys! :D

    Question Game

Favorite to cook--oriental. I love the smells of the exotic spices when it gets made around our house. Favorite to eat--oriental again. I absolutely adore how there can be so many flavors--spicy, sweet, sour (I love hot & sour soup!), etc... The only thing I don't like is all the salt...

    Randomness! Yay!

Sounds like both of yours were wonderful. I recieved a small stereo/alarm clock, clothing, and lots of gift cards and money. Oh, and a new wallet and chocolates (I'm a sucker for candy). :D Happy New Year everyone!

    I'm moving on

You're right; the dog part does need a little work. All it really needs is some connectors; to me it seems too broken. All in all--excellent. I suggest revision, trying to change sentence form where all the lines begin with the same word; it limits your poem's potential. I also think you...
