Im trying to read the first book at present, for a local reading group. What can I say - very long winded :eek:

A scanner darkly is part of a short storie collection, in fact I think most of that authors works would fall under dark, futuristic, he had that kind of view I feel. I got a good book - Imprint by Paull Bates - now that was a dark sci-fi futuristic story that I enjoyed:D

I really enjoy this series and read all three books so far :D I think her writing style does reflect that she also writes poems.

I enjoyed this book, thought it was quite amusing at times and the characters were well created :D I think Neverwhere is a slightly better story though

I think her works would fall under Dark Fantasy too. Ive just finished Broken, not her best in the series but still very good :D

Ive also recently finished the sequel No Present Like Time. Definate a good sequel and this authors gone onto my favourites list :D

I think her newer series is better than her older one Gollum :D Well worth trying
