put simply
basically, all i want is to know the most emotional, gripping, moving, and life-changing novel you guys have ever read (that is in some way sophisticate).
also
i would also like these books to be very sophisticate and, not moving in the way that makes one cry nessecarily (though if it did that would be a plus), but in a way that changes one (while also causing intense emotion).
i am looking for some books to read. I would like them to be very deeply emotional and gripping, something that pulls one in and changes everything, something astoundingly moving. this is all i would like: an amazingly moving book.
no, i have not read those books, and ill check them out. however, just to say, i am not really looking for something similar to murakami, but to kenzaburo oe, as he is my favorite author.

what i mant was, if anyone were to recommend them, ive already read them (haruki by the way). ive also read mishima. mainly i want to know any authors with the same feel or that have evoked similar emotions in a similar way.
id like recommendations for authors similar to kenzaburo oe. it would be greatly appreciated if you could name any authors that i may like if i loved him. (I have read kazuo ishiguro, murakami, and soseki as well [liking the first two most] and enjoyed these if it would help to further recommend...
