I only know the first book of the series. Naja...as we say in German. I prefer the Warhammer orcs (a bit stupid, brutal and sometimes even funny guys). The orcs in the books were really very "klingonisch". It was not bad and nevertheless good entertainment, but I`m just no real fan of that kind...

I have all Asterix comics, except for the last three books. The old ones are still great and I like them since my childhood, but the new ones have destroyed a lot of the good reputation of the series - in my eyes. It`s better if Uderzo retires...

I`ve read the English version (I`m German) a few days ago. This book is still a masterpiece and a great part of Orwell`s vision is still realistic.
