    Opinions on the Books

I HATE harry potter! Its infuritating!!!!! >-( !!!! He's such an obnoxious, selfish person. All he cares about is himself, and he gets angery at little things and holds grudges against everyone.

    Opinions on the Books

I have read all 7 books and am thoroughly unimpressed with them. They are suitable for 10 to 12 year olds max. You have to be a complete idiot to enjoy any of the books. There is hardly any character development. J.K seems to try and force the plot to be suprising but it fails. Harry remains a...

    Dean Koontz

I have read Dean Koontz's Frankenstein. It was the first Koontz novel I read and I absolutely loved it. He has a great imagination and the story with its crime and detective aspects was enthrilling. I'd recommend it.

What do you use as a bookmark?

I have a bookmark I have made which is just a sheet of paper folded 4 times length wise. I also have a bookmark with my picture on it, one of those that come extra with school photos. I do fold pages but try to avoid it if it is a library book.

Greg Mortenson: Three Cups Of Tea

I don't think he is a christian missionary at all. No. The book is about his work in Pakistan. You could say that his book is a way to promote donations for CAI (his institute) but I don't think that was the real purpose of Three Cups of Tea. But its a book worth reading.

Greg Mortenson: Three Cups Of Tea

For those that need more information: Greg Mortenson builds schools. Whats so special about that you asK? Well his schools are built for some of the poorest children in the world and they are built at high altitudes where air is thin. What makes this story so great is just reading about Greg...

Greg Mortenson: Three Cups Of Tea

Has anybody read this book? It is such an excellent read, if you haven't read this book then you must. I really liked this book and especially when I read the first few paragraphs it had me hooked. And it is a true story, and an amazing one. The determination that Greg Mortenson has is just...

    Raymond E. Feist: Magician

I agree that the sequels aren't as good as Magician as they do stretch the story quite far telling the tales of the people that follow the Magician, like the sons of the main characters.Ummm...after I am finished with this series can anyone suggest other good fantasy works as Midkemia and The...

Anybody here read the tomorrow series?

It was one of the books required of us to read in school last year (along with Holes) in year 9. I really enjoyed the series and thought they were great but I haven't heard anything about them from anyone. So I guess perhaps they aren't 'one of the best books of all time' but they were so...
