What crime/horror/thriller/mystery books have you read and found appealing?

Me too...I don't know what happened to her, but when I first started reading her, she was great. Then it seemed it wasn't her writing.

    errors in Lee Child book

I'm not "one of the guys" but if you read fiction writers like Harlan Corben, or Daniel Silva, expect the same thing as Lee Child's books. They have the same thing written on the copyright page. That's what is meant by "fiction writers". Maybe you should read True Stories.;) Then you would...

    errors in Lee Child book

You remarked that Lee Child made big errors in describing the prison scene, did you read the copyright page in the front of the book? If you don't have the book anymore here's a URL at the bottom you can refer to. It says, "61 Hours is a work of fiction. Names, characters, places and...

What crime/horror/thriller/mystery books have you read and found appealing?

I believe it was a conspiracy. I have enjoyed every book one or both have written. Like I said in my review on Amazon: What I like with these two writers is their knowledge. Gideon Crew was exciting in every aspect and I can't wait for the next book. Preston and Child's detractors should...

What crime/horror/thriller/mystery books have you read and found appealing?

Right now I'm reading Gideon's Sword by Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child. It's a new introduction to their latest action character, Gideon Crew, who is a trickster, prodigy, master thief. So far I can't seem to put the book down.:stars5:

    Thomas Harris: Hannibal Rising

Have you read the book, Stewart? The mystery is not completely solved. It did not explain everything. He is still a monster, not humanized, and being a bogeyman remains, and he is to be feared.:)

    Thomas Harris: Hannibal Rising

I've seen it written somewhere that this book was boring, uninteresting, but now I can understand why Hannibal Lector was who he was. It's cleared up a lot of questions of where he came from, why he did what he did, and why he's a monster. It begins when he was 6 years old and continues until...

    John Dunning

I just finished The Sign of The Book and John Dunning has made this character, Cliff Janeway, one of the best action people in books. I would compare Janeway to Jack Reacher, Alex Cross,:D Bruce Willis, and :D The Rock. I would give it 5 stars.
