Nope definately not an official release date. It would be cool though if it did come out on that date, I guess it all depends on when she finishes writing it, although then it'll take another 4-6 months maybe for editing, printing etc
I really enjoyed the Artemis Fowl books, he's definately a hero with a difference and I love Holly & Foaly, I'm sure their sarcasm must be lost on kids though :)
It bothers me though, that he manages to get out of scrapes so easily all the time - I'd like to see Artemis get really stuck one...
Love P&P, so many great characters and it's a wonderful romance. Lizzy's sassy and spirited but sometimes she needs to shut her gob to stop her putting her foot in it :)
I finished this book just last week, couldn't put it down and didn't want it to end either. I loved the way it was woven together, especially when things from Clare's past cropped up in Henry's present. Very clever.
Am I the only one that buys all her books from charity shops? :o
I think they're ace, there's two or three on the local high street and they often have something worth reading, other than that I go to the library or steal off family.
I don't remember the last time I bought a new book...
I picked up the first Dark Materials book, because I'd read/heard so many people raving about it, but couldn't actually get past the first chapter - I thought I'd it was dreadful and I've read some wierd books in my time :)
However, a year later, after my sister had sung it's praises to me...
Well putting the Harry Potter series to one side for a moment ;) I'd have to say the Rama quadrology by Arthur C Clarke - a wonderful collection of books, Sci-fi obviously, but also focussing on human reactions, perceptions and interactions under strange situations. Eye opening :)
Hello everyone, this looks like a great place. I'm currently working my way through the BBC top 100 books list (in competition with family members) alongside a stack of other books not on the list. It's a great way to read books you wouldn't normally read, although I'm not looking forward to War...
