    The favourite sports

I'm athletic in the sense that I could play sports. I hate sports though so it doesn't really matter. So my favorite sport would be no sport. If anything I like badminton because I'm not fond of violence in any manner of the word.

You know you're addicted to reading when...

Thank you sparkchaser. But quite frankly I wasn't worried too much about it due to other things taking up all time to worry and aside from that even if I never get them ever I still have many more to read. But I refuse to sell my book because I like it due to the level of value it holds and...

What's your favourite word? And worst?

Either sable or omadaun. Sable means to blacken or dark something along those lines. Omadaun meaning idiot and it was derived from the Irish Amadaun which is the court jester.

You know you're addicted to reading when...

Well if you can manage to find a flea-market you'd be set. I found one book that is priced at 700.00 US dollars and bought it for 1.00 US dollar. "Fathers Martyrs and Queen of the Holy Rosary" printed in 1884 leatherbound.

    name the worst invention

BLASPHEMER! How dare you speak of books as worthless! They don't waste paper or time! They use and no waste is included in that use. Books should be on the list of greatest inventions, for without them we would still be scribbling on walls. They transfer information at such an uncontrollable...

You know you're addicted to reading when...

Well because my library doesn't have sales just to make money but also has them to get rid of books I suppose I spent around $100.00 And the labor consisted of moving all of the books back into storage.

You know you're addicted to reading when...

Yay library sales! I think I bought about 200 and because I helped clean up afterwards they let me take what I wanted and that was about 400. So if you think about it I bought 600 books with money and labor. Which is enough to last me years because I have no free time anymore.

You know you're addicted to reading when...

How about buying enough books to last you 4 years in one day?

    Has anyone really read...

Ahh, Ulysses and its random switchings to Latin. I got about 50 pages in and said "F this" I can honestly say that it is being shelved for a while. At least until i get a Latin dictionary.

    Solipsism and pyrrhonism

That's it helgi. The aliens... I know they have my cheese those darn little globs and their obsession with french culture. Did they steal your cheese too? Just because I'm paranoid doesn't mean they don't want the wine too!

    Solipsism and pyrrhonism

    Solipsism and pyrrhonism

Ah Helgi. Ever the source of worthless posts. Oh well for the most part they are enjoyable. Solipsism is not really as important as pyrrhonism to me because solipsism is more or less as well understood by me as it theoretically can be. Pyrrhnism draws a total blank due to the sheer lack of...

    First book

Mine has to be "Jeremy Thatcher the Dragon Hatcher" that was the book that got me into reading for fun instead of for knowledge which i thing i read in first or second grade when i decided to see what all the novel hype was about.

    Solipsism and pyrrhonism

Do any of you have any theoretical ideas about solipsism and pyrrhonism? If you've read 1984 you should know perfectly well what solipsism is. Pyrrhonism is a bit harder to find any information on and I want to discuss it a bit so I can learn about it also a decent definition as to what the...

    Another reason to go vegan

Wrong. Dairy products are natural but they are pure products. In other words we chose the bacteria to go in otherwise it would be a big green lump of poisonous mold and stuff. And technically we're nature as well.
