Yes, I'm listening to it on audio book right now, and it is a bit of both. I was listening one night at work, alone in my truck while my partner paid for the fuel we had just pumped. I was a little scared and locked the truck doors (which resulted in me being ridiculed all the way back to base). It was late and dark and I could totally picture some creepy vampire opening the passenger door and pulling me right out.
