A little poem

A gentleman on his couch
lights a cigarette leisurely
and fix something on the wall
while speaking:

I looked inside the room Mr. C. You
as a light yellowish
sometimes release the music
or read something that is not at all reassuring.
sometimes look at the screen and three phantom heads
suddently appear -

I've observed that you have
all kinds of gestures that are
not proper: you imagine strange things
and you want strange things. more
above all, Mr. C., I heard
you have a very old kitten with slow step
and gentle eyes. lies in your arms
every night and feels more alone than
containers on a vacant lot, and that
makes you sad
every time.

that is very interesting and paints a clear picture of an old man living alone with his cat .. but even poetry needs good grammar :)

yeah, I've tried a translation from romanian, but the tricks I've done in romanian become errors in english :D sorry, I'll try someday a new translation

Well, I translate poems sometimes, and it helps the translator work better when you write the message in paragraph form. Then after translating it, you go back and give the poem from by dividing the lines. Not much, but you might want to try it.
