Help! Many many (many) years ago I read a book consisting of vignettes about famous men, as described by their women. I remember Mrs. Noah complaining about the constant banging; I think there may even have been a nursery tale (maybe Jill talking about Jack?). It was very funny, but I can't remember the title. I thought it was Carol Ann Duffy's 'The World's Wife', but it's not. Does this ring a bell with anyone? Thanks
