Hi guys,
I am a screenwriter - and I am very interested in A. Lincoln, like a lot of people I guess. But I've been looking up on Amazon.com for a suitable book I can get my hands on which writes in detail Lincoln's years in particular as a Lawyer.
I am interested to adapt a trial Lincoln undertook as a Lawyer in the courts, a little known story that'd convey the seeds of his character.
I've read Stephen Oates' biography "With Malice Towards None" and also Doris Kearns Goodwin's "Team of Rivals". Gore Vidal's novel "Lincoln" looks great as well... but haven't gotten to reading it yet. But all these books mostly detail his years during the presidency.
Any recommendations guys? Much appreciated btw!
