Is there a word for a collection/group of aeroplanes?

I've tried a hangarload/a windfall/a flight, but I need a word for a bunch of grounded planes, in the open, undamaged.

Help, please (again) :(

you could use bird imagery, i.e. flock, gaggle, etc. or something militaristic in origin, i.e. squadron. Can't think of a specific word that just means that, though.

I'll second Darren's 'fleet'. That was the first thing that came to mind, after reading your question, TMG.

Good luck with it.

Cheers, Martin :D

Fleet is good. How many airplanes are you referring to? Fleet sounds like upwards of 2 dozen to me.

Okay. I confess. 'The girl collected a small squadron of paper planes from the classroom floor.'

Thanks all. Thanks Ashlea. I like 'squadron'. :)
